The fall releases are flying into the store and on to our shelves –
Learned By Heart by Emma Donoghue is bound to be one of the big ones this fall. A novel based on a true story of two girls who fell secretly and dangerously in love s boarding school in 19th century England.
Reykjavik is a new mystery novel by Ragnar Jonasson. This time he has partnered with Katrin Jakobsdottir, the Prime Minister of Iceland, who holds a master’s degree in Icelandic literature and wrote her thesis on Icelandic crime fiction!!
Amazing Grace Adams by Fran Littlewood is a “Read with Jenna” selection, and a debut novel getting a lot of press.
Ann Cleeves offers a new instalment in the Two Rivers - Matthew Venn series, The Raging Storm, set in Devon, this time a case involving a missing sailor with a complicated past.
We also have a new edition of A Bird in the Hand, first published in 1986 and long out of print, this one involving a death on the Norfolk coast and a bird-watching couple of bird watching sleuths.
